Hmmmmmmmmmmm……….well it does sound nice. They just say that because most Americans will fall for it.

Yeah. I like how last night neither of them said anything they would cut other than a few small programs that are a drop in the bucket.
How about farm subsidies? Could we please start by getting rid of them?
The spending freeze thing is BS. All government programs increase by small percentages each year by matter of fact. For instance, military salaries rise each year.
Gullible sheep who don’t see the connection between taxes and spending. The govt. can just print more money if they want it, right? To those of us who didn’t squander our public education, that leads to inflation.
