Tips For Buying And Then Selling Products Online – How To Make A Living Doing It!
You’ll learn about lots of people who discuss that they made money by selling products online. Usually these people just sell a couple of products that are available their houses, not realizing that they can potentially turn this into a full-time business. In the following paragraphs I’m going to take you step-by-step through the process of finding products to buy at cheap prices (called sourcing) after which selling these items at huge markups. The best of this is that you won’t even have to depart your house…
There’s a couple of methods for you to find cheap products without leaving your house. It amazes me that individuals go China making trips around the world in the hopes that they can find really cheap prices for products they are able to restore then sell in the United States. On this day and age, there is no reason to be travelling halfway across the globe looking to get products. Sure you might get them even cheaper if you go there, but using only the internet you can find products to market in the comfort of your home.
One way to find cheap products online is to look at sites like eBay, Craigslist, Kajiji. But these sites have huge competition now, and you probably won’t be able to find any products for low prices. In fact, what you’re going to want to do once you find cheap products is to go and sell them on these very same sites and make a huge profit. These sites would have been great to use as sources of products 3-4 years ago… but now they’re just saturated with competition.
So where do you get your products then?
My best kept secret to date has been to locate products from penny auctions (I guess I’m letting the key from the bag now). Either penny auctions or online police auctions (yup, they’ve them). Penny auctions work by you purchasing a bid pack after which bidding on products. All the prices start at $0.00, and everytime you determine a bid the merchandise price rises by $0.01 and also the countdown timer gets Around 10 secs put into it. When you’re the final someone to place an offer before the countdown timer hits 0, you’re a winner. Pretty simple huh? If you use the right sites, you can find products at prices you won’t ever thought might get so low. I’ve bought iPads, iPhone’s, Stereo systems along with other electronics for under $20.
After you start getting products from Penny Auctions, go on Craigslist, eBay and Kajiji and place ads for the purchased items. Look at the prices other people are offering for these products and beat that price by at least $10. In this way, using penny auctions has let you completely undercut your competition because your source cost is 10X lower than theirs. This means you’re going to get huge demand and you’re going to make huge profit margins.
This should enable you to get going on the right path to making a complete time income from the comfort of your house. I’ll have more articles written up in the future.
