Over time the legs of your furniture can also cause dents and scratches. A smart idea is placing rugs under the furniture to keep them from being damaged, or place felt underneath the furniture legs. You could also put a few area rugs in the high traffic areas of your home, like kitchens, halls, and the area directly in front of the couch.
